We have opened a Customer Service function in our attempt to provide and collect information so that patients and customers can feel more confident in using our products, and that people engaged in healthcare practice can ensure proper use. We received 5,263 calls for consultation in 2007. Customer Service is committed to providing the correct information in order to gain trust, and to utilize the information we receive.

Support for the activities
Support activities to organizations
Senju supports organizations working for the advancement of health care and improvement of the QOL of patients.
- Japan National Society for the Prevention of Blindness, Japan Red Cross Society, Self Management Program for People with Chronic Diseases, and other organizations.
Support activities to overseas medical projects
Senju donates prescription drugs to medical cooperation projects led by Japanese staff active abroad, especially in Asia to support their activities.

Other support activities
Kobe Creative Center (KCC) accepts site tours for students from surrounding elementary schools, junior high schools and universities and conducts vocational seminars upon request as part of our social action programs.
In 2007 we received a letter of appreciation for the conduct of vocational seminars on site from the Kobe City Education Board.
Donation/contribution activities
Donations/contributions to the Japan Red Cross Society, Nippon Lighthouse, ophthalmic related societies, associations and support organizations.
Support for disaster recovery
- We donated relief in the amount of 1 million yen through the Japan Red Cross Society to the victims of the Great China Sichuan Earthquake which occurred on May 12, 2008.
- We donated relief in the amount of 300,000 yen through Japan Red Cross Society to the victims of the cyclone which hit Myanmar on May 2, 2008.
